Borrowing from low budget music inspired films such as Once, this film starts with Rose moving to her new home in Brighton. Having left behind a world that she intends to forget she finds herself immersed in the arts culture of Brighton trying to discover who she is and becoming who she wants to be.

Her previous experiences in life have left her with little self-confidence. She finds it hard to share her stunning music with the world. It is the people she meets in her journey that make this possible.
